** Your
masters should meet the following guidelines to avoid extra charges**
We can copy from CDs, DATS, 1/4" Analog Reels, Cassettes, Vinyl
and many audio file formats on CD Rom. Contact us for information about
additional formats that we may be able to support.
CD Master Guidelines
A CD log which indicates continuously running SMPTE or CD Frame time with
pre-gap, track start/end times and total lengh of CD must accompany all
masters. (Logs should be frame accurate) Your CD recording softwares
playlist should provide this information.
CD Masters should be produced in a Disk At Once (DAO) mode. Track At Once
mode may work but is not recommended.
Do not attach CD labels to Master disk as they can interfere with accurate
rotation of the disc.
CDRW CDs are not compatible and will require re-mastering.
Consumer Music CDs are not compatible and will require re-mastering.
LISTEN TO YOUR CD COMPLETELY BEFORE SENDING IT TO US.
DATS
Dat master tapes must be at a 44.1 kHz sample rate. Any masters received
that are recorded at 48kHz will require a sample rate conversion to 44.1kHz
which will involve additional costs.
A tape log which contains appropriate Start ID/PNO and continuously running
ABS time indicating where each cut starts and finishes must accompany
all masters.
DAT Masters should use ABS time and be set up as follows: (hrs:mins:secs)
00:00:00 - 00:01:00 = test tone if possible (1Khz @ -16 digital level)
00:01:00 - 00:02:00 = Digital black (silence)
00:02:00 - = Program
30 seconds digital black should follow program material
ABS time code of master must begin at 00:00:00:00 and run consistently
without interuptions.
Digital audio levels should be 0 to -3 dB at maximum only. Over levels
are not recommended, as they may cause audible imperfections.
Maximum program time is 79:58 .
Minimum program time for each track is 4 seconds and 5 frames.

evaluates all supplied masters, we cannot accept responsibility for the
content or quality of your master tapes. Please be sure that you enclose
with your master a detailed analysis of all acknowledged faults, defects,
extraneous sounds, etc. We will process exactly what we are given. We
strongly urge that you listen to your master in its entirety before sending
it to us.
